A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11AM in GuilFord Memorial Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. Donations may be made to Oakland Baptist Church Building Fund, 1509 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA. 31088.
Mrs. Willis was born on April 27, 1923 in Gaffney, South Carolina to the late Burley and Anne Head. She was a member of Mount Beulah Baptist Church in Cherryville North Carolina. She was also a member of Oakland Baptist Church where she was involved in the Seniors Ministry. She was involved with many things in the community. Gladys loved people and it showed through the things that she has done for them. She was a volunteer at the Heart of Georgia Hospice Thrift Store which she did for many years becoming very close to the other volunteers she worked with. She worked with Habitat for Humanity and delivered for Meals on Wheels. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
