Baechler, Benjamin (Ben)

Jan. 10 1994 - Aug. 26 2016

Ben passed away suddenly on August 26th in his 22nd year in Asheville, NC. Ben's adventurous spirit now soars throughout the universe. His infectious smile, genuine compassion, deep values and zest for life will be profoundly missed by all those who loved him.

Ben is the loving son of Catherine (Cat) and Clark Lind, Joseph (Joe) and Michelle Baechler. Ben leaves his brothers Alexander (Alex) and partner Cheyenne of Arizona, Ayden of North Carolina, and sister, Natasha (Booshaboo) of Russell, and niece Alexandria of Arizona. Ben was the proud grandson of Paul and Mariellen Baechler, Jackie Dalgety and the late Ed Dalgety; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as his best furry pals, Guppy and Gus.

Ben was an old soul, His smile was genuine and brightened our days.

Ben would not wish to list his life accomplishments, rather he would like to thank the people closest to him for teaching him, loving him and for being in his life.

Ben provided a glowing example of how to live and love life. He touched the world in a positive light in so many ways and leaves a legacy of pure joy, class and love. Long live the beauty in the world that comes down, through and onto all of us because Ben lived.

While our dear sweet Ben will be truly missed, a part of him lives on in all the lives he has touched.

Funeral and a private internment took place Sept 3rd, 2016 at McTavish cemetery, where Ben rests between his beloved Grandma and Papa; a memorial celebrating Ben's life was held at Asheville North Carolina Aug 30th.

In Ben's memory, we ask that you hug your child, grandchild, friend or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day. Time waits for no one.
