Marco John Grande of Chestertown, MD passed away on August 29, 2016 at John Hopkins Hospital. He was 27.

Born on May 23, 1989 in Trenton, NJ, the son of Salvatore Grande and Christine Bolton Starkey. He grew up in Queen Anne’s County area. He was a graduate from Queen Anne’s County High School and worked along side his father and Uncle at Colosseum Pizza in Centreville, and he loved the beach.

Marco is survived by his mother Christie Starkey and her husband Paul and family of Greensboro, MD; father Salvatore Grande and his wife Lisa of Chestertown, MD; siblings Jessica Grande and her two sons Aaron and JP of Chester, MD; Josephine Maybury, her husband Brett and three children Crista, Bryan and Ian of Atlanta, GA; Denis Grande of Chestertown, MD; Matthew Grande of Chestertown, MD; Alexander Fredette of Chestertown, MD; daughter Carmella Grande and her mother Virginia Rastrelli of Port St. Lucia, FL; son Jakobe of Florida; Uncle Tony Grande of Centreville, MD; Paternal Grandmother Josephine Castiglia of Naples Italy; and many other family members.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Centreville, MD. A service will be held privately at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Chestertown, MD followed by a private burial in Chesterfield Cemetery.
