Married in 1856 at Old Zion Lutheran Church,Dushore,PA & had 2 children. Enlisted into the Civil War 4 days after the organization of PA's 107th Infantry Regiment on 9 Mar 1862,in Bradford County,PA. Shot by a sniper at Bethseda Church,VA; died 4 days latter at Cold Harbor,VA, where a battle was raging. Body or grave never identified; family never notified.
