William Holly, 38, vaudeville a legit actor, died August 24, at the V.A. Lodge, Saranac Lake, following an illness of two yearrs. Burial will be in Brooklyn, N.Y.
In vaude he last toured with Mr. and Mrs. James Cagney, when they were doing a dance act. With “The Gingham Girl” (legit). Mr. Holly also played on the west coast in shows, including ”Broadway”; when on the road out there.
Surviving are a mother and two brothers.

WILLIAM F. HOLLY died Monday at Saranac Lake, N.Y. He was a veteran of the World War. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nellie Holly and two brothers, Leo and George Holly. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow from his late home, 112 Verona street, with requiem mass at the Church of the Visitation. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery under direction of Joseph Redmond, 103 King street.
