Kevin Brian Conway, age 30, of Archer, Florida, died unexpectedly and peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016.

Kevin was born October 6, 1985 and graduated from Pace High School class of 2004. He spent a wonderful childhood playing baseball, fishing and golfing with his buddies.

Kevin and his family's proudest achievement was his military service. As a specialist in the Army, Kevin was deployed to Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom, and received numerous Army Achievement medals and ribbons for his service as an Airborne Specialist, with the 2nd Battalion 377th parachute field artillery regiment. Spartan Steel! He was a brother and member of the 3-509th Inf ABN, Fort Richardson, Alaska. Geronimo!
Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Vinnie Conway, Doris and James Sutton and Walker Lee Jernigan.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Lore Conway of Pace, Florida; grandparents, Ellen and James Atchison of Pace, Florida, Marie Jernigan of Sarasota, Florida, and Joyce Sutton of Star City, Arkansas; Aunt Barbara Workman (Paul), Aunt Chanoy Sutton, Aunt Debbie Welch (Tim), Uncle Greg Jernigan, Aunt Missy White, Aunt Sue Jernigan; and numerous other family members and friends.

A private graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Kevin and his family found comfort from special friends Emily Rutter, Tess Gross, and his mentor/friend, Uncle Greg Jernigan. Please honor him with support for our military veterans and pray for his family and friends.
