A Memorial Service for Kelly Todd Garrison, 45 of Chalk Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at the Activity Center in Guthrie, TX, with Rev. Max Gunn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home of Paducah. Kelly went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2016. Kelly married Crystal Roberts, on June 13, 1991 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was a talented horseman, and an all-around Cowboy, on many ranches throughout the country where he made lifetime friends. He was currently working at the 6666 ranch in Guthrie, TX as a heavy equipment operator. "Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a dad", would be the description of Kelly with his two sons, Guston, and Graden. Kelly was proud of each of them and the accomplishments they have made. Hard work was something that he instilled with his sons. Kelly loved God, his family, his country, a good horse, NASCAR and fishing. Kelly is preceded in death, by his Grandfather C.D. Garrison. Those left to cherish his memory are his love of his life and best friend Crystal Garrison, Guston Garrison and Alexa Cole of Stephenville, Graden Garrison of Paducah, Herb and Evelyn (Memaw) Smallwood of Matador, David and Susan Garrison of Sterling City, TX, Amanda Garrison Davis of Sterling City, TX, Kerry Garrison of Sterling City, TX, Terry and Teri Roberts of Amarillo, TX, Carl and Gail Willeford of Amarillo, TX., and Betty Moore of Okmulgee, OK. Honorary Pallbearers will be J.D. Albus, Roger Perez, Scott Lindley, Bobby Croslin, Jeffrey Richardson, Randy Reed, Colt Ellis, and Tim Maxwell Memorial Donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
