Daughter of Allison Israel Comstock and Elsie "Issie" Willard, Myrtle married Alvah Ray Gaddis of Fort Casey on July 22, 1920. Their children were Alva, Jack, Elizabeth, Clifford, Dorothy, Phyllis, Patricia and Willard Gaddis.
The family lived at Fort Casey for a few months and then moved to Hennesy, Oklahoma. In 1922 they moved to Oak Harbor. They left Whidbey Island about 1937, taking up residence at Clear Lake, in Skagit County.
Surviving, besides her husband and children were two brothers, Ray Edwin of Sedro-Woolley and Earl Willard of Clear Lake.
