Leslie was born March 15, 1955 in Berea, Ohio to Gene and Carol Farnsworth. Later the family relocated to Kansas City, Missouri. Leslie was the third child of seven brothers and sisters.
For over six years, Leslie fought the most brave and courageous battle with stage IV metastatic breast cancer that one could imagine. Her attitude and spirit will forever be remembered as the epitome of faith, love, and perseverance.
Leslie was preceded in death by mother Carol Farnsworth, mother-in-law Irene Bradley and husband Michael Bradley, Sr.
Leslie & Michael were high school sweethearts at Southwest High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Michael and Leslie built an amazing family of three sons, whom she picked both first and middle names for, in order, as a young teenager, and resided for the most of their lives in part in Merriam, Kansas. When Michael Sr. was taken too early she picked up the pieces and continued to raise her boys and she raised them well.
After a lifetime of raising a household of boys, Leslie was delighted in being Nana to three beautiful granddaughters.
Leslie was passionate, loving, competitive, organized, and most of all compassionate. She wouldn't just give you the shirt off her back; she would wear the tattered one while giving you the pristine shirt she just purchased. Her smile and laugh is engrained in all who knew her and even complete strangers would come to know her as their best of friends.
Leslie's commitment to Jesus Christ was paramount and she made every effort to consult her Bible and prayer for all things she encountered. No task was too daunting and no obstacle too large for her as she lived her life to the fullest.
Mom; you will be missed more than words can express.
