Judy Ilene DeRouen, age 72 and a resident of St. Andrews, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2016.
She was born on October 31, 1943, in Hominy, OK to Robert and Allyne Smith. She lived in Albuquerque, NM prior to moving to Biloxi in 1969, where she called home. She retired, doing what she loved in 1990, as a cosmetologist instructor.
Mrs. DeRouen was preceded in death by her father, Robert Smith; her husband, Austin DeRouen, her very special uncle, Dick Sims and her companion, Joe Pierotti.
She is survived by her mother, Allyne Smith; her son, Robert Martin; her daughters, Carol (Michael) Redmond and Bretta Arceneaux; her brother, Mike Smith of Albuquerque; her sisters, Jan (Paul) DeMaggio of Albuquerque, and Karen (Dick) Bavouset of West Covina, CA; her grandchildren, Michael (Natalia) Redmond, Bobby Redmond, and Alexis (Albert) Dice; her great grandchildren, Linaèa, Michaela & Jake Redmond, Devan & Julien Dice, and Blake Davis; nephews, Stan (Monica) and Jeff (Sabrina) Sanchez; great nieces Sophia, Francesca, Maya & Kayla Sanchez and cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 12:30pm at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
