She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1942. Betty was a member of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter, No. 5, Beta Sigma Phi, Christ United Methodist Church, and was one of the original St. Petersburg "Bombadeers" during WWII.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Karan Raymer Padgett; granddaughter, Melissa Elaine Canfield; great grandchildren, Sydney Elaine Canfield and Rhys Joseph Canfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Dornbusch; her parents; and brothers, George and Charles Danison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg.
Betty will be laid to rest in Royal Palm South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 467 1st Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
