She was united in holy matrimony to George Mayes. To this union were born two daughters. One daughter and her companion have preceded her in the next world.
She was united in holy matrimony Sept. 20, 1860, to James D. McCormack. To this union were born five children...three sons & two daughters. Two sons & one daughter of this union have preceded her. She leaves three sisters, one son, two daughters, with her companion, to mourn their loss.
Sister McCormack has been a constant sufferer for almost three years.
She was converted in childhood & joined the M. E. Church. At the time of her death she was a member of the Trinity class of the Mt. Erie circuit. She, with her husband, joined the class when first organized, of which she was a faithful member until death.
Funeral services were held at the Brown Church.
