Gary Lee Lynch was born on July 3, 1937, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Sly and Audie Lynch.

After a long battle with cancer, he departed this Earth from Roswell, NM, on a rainy morning, August 31, 2016.

He was married to Johnny Lynch. They had 2 sons and 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He is now riding in Heaven with his parents, siblings and his son, Aubrey.

Gary believed in God and he loved Mother Nature. He enjoyed working cows and shoeing horses. In fact, his idea of vacation was working cattle. He always liked nervous, high-horned Brahma cows.

His sons and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he kinda liked his wife too. He was an amazing teacher and grandfather, who taught all the grandchildren how to ride, flank calves and how to be tough in every situation. Gary was an amazing horseman, farmer and cowboy. He will forever be remembered by his friends and family as the toughest and yet most loving man they’ve ever been blessed to meet.

Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery in Roswell on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11 a.m.

Obituary was lovingly written by the Lynch family.
