Brian Jay Fields of Belleville, Illinois, born on January 24, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa, was called by the Lord from his home on Wednesday August 31, 2016.

Brian was a 1980 Graduate of BTHS East. He was an over the road truck driver for several years and was a drummer since high school playing in various bands and was known to be one of the best and highly respected drummers in our area. He had also worked for Krupps Florist, Pizza Hut, Boston Market and the Belleville News Democrat. Brian was a kindhearted, caring gentleman who never met a stranger and his mission in life was to make people laugh. He can best be known for his contagious personality. He was a loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his family playing games, going to the children's activities and volunteering at school.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Bernard J. and Blanche M., nee Walton, Fields.

Surviving are his loving wife and soulmate Karon L. Fields, nee Greenlee, of Belleville, IL., whom he married September 29, 2012; step-sons Derrick Tyra of Belleville, IL, Bradley Tyra of Richmond, KY, step-daughter Makayla Tyra of Belleville, IL.; sisters Breena (Tracey) Yates of Indianapolis, IN., Heather Busetto of Eau Claire, Wis.; father-in-law, William E. Kaiser Sr., brothers-in-law, Dr. Mark E. (Mary Ellen) Greenlee, of Corpus Christi, TX., William E. (Debby) Kaiser Jr. of Fairview Heights, IL.; sister-in-law Susie Greenlee of O'Fallon, IL.; aunts Muriel O'Maley (Don Wilson) and Joyce McGuire, both of Fredericksburg, VA.; nephews, Robert, Ryan, William, James, Blaine and Deven; nieces Janette, Jennifer Gemmalyn and Jaiden; several cousins, other extended family, numerous friends and his musician family.
