* Michael Dale Ledbetter, by the will of God, died on August 29, 2016 after a battle with throat cancer.
He was born in Haywood County North Carolina on June 22, 1951 to the late Horace Newton Ledbetter, and the late Betty Rose Dunagan Ledbetter.
He was married to and is survived by Linda Dotson Ledbetter. He is also survived by 2 Daughters; Sharon Michele Ledbetter Davis of Haywood County, NC, and Kimberly Dawn Ledbetter McPeak, also of Haywood County.
He also leaves this world knowing that his legacy will carry on in his grandchildren; Chandra Kristine Kersey, Brandon Dakota Kersey, and Abigail Kaitlyn McPeak.
He is survived by 2 brothers; Jerry Wayne Ledbetter & Alan Scott Ledbetter. He also had a brother who proceeded him in death; Dean Edward Ledbetter.
He was a very simple but loving and kind man.
He served America Honorably in the United States Army.
He loved fishing and the outdoors.
The family held a private memorial on August 31, 2016.
His ashes will be scattered in a place outside and in the beauty of the mountains of Western North Carolina.
