Lee E. Boyd, age 78, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at home family by his side. He was born on May 23, 1938 a son of Arthur and Helen (Winkelbauer) Boyd in Oshkosh. Lee married Judith JH. Heling on May 24, 1969. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2008.He graduated from Oshkosh High School, proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, and became a Master Electrician for Solar Electric where he worked for over 40 years.Lee enjoyed fishing, sports, and wood working. He took great pride in his lawn and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Lee was a member of the Otter Street Fishing Club and Walleyes for Tomorrow.He is survived by his daughter: Rebecca (Dan) Nuetzel; grandchildren: Greydon and Morgen; and brother: Wayne Boyd.Lee was preceded in death by his parents and wife.A funeral service will be held for Lee at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside) with Rev. Karen Jewel officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
