Renata Bieber was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of Christ the Redeemer, Minneapolis, Minn., who died in November 2003. Renata had willed her body to the University of Minnesota Medical School for anatomical research. When the ashes were returned in late summer, 2005 to Renata's sister, the sister and her husband took the ashes to the cemetery in Andrew, Iowa. They were buried in August via an "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" rite conducted by the local Lutheran pastor. The sister and brother-in-law's son, an Andrew resident, was also present for the ceremony. May Renata rest in peace.
