She was born September 21, 1952 in Poteet, TX to Adolfo and Julia Torres.
She grew up in Winters where she later married George Torres in 1969 and raised her family. She was a loving wife and mother, a very caring grandma, and always loved to give to everybody.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Ray and Ramaldo Torres.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Torres of Winters; her children: George Torres, Jr. and wife Michelle of San Angelo, Timothy Torres of Winters, and Natalie Torres of Winters; 3 sisters: Eloida Ysa and husband Frank of Abilene, Laura Lara and husband Manuel of Winters, and Romalee Silva and husband Jimmy of Mineral Wells; 6 brothers: Bobby Salazar and wife Josie of Winters, Roy Torres of Winters, Roger Torres and wife J.B. of Abilene, Rudy Torres and wife Toni of Winters, Adolfo Torres and wife Herlinda of Winters, and Romero Torres of Abilene; as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
