Richard Corwine Dorman, RN, age 56, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on November 8, 2013. He was born on Jan. 1, 1957 to Linda Lake Dorman (deceased) and Richard J. Dorman in Jackson, Mississippi. He is survived by his 17 year old twin daughters, Ellie and Katie Dorman, and former wife Katherine Soutar Dorman of Palatine, Illinois. He leaves behind his sister, Rachel Dorman Cooper (John) and brother John E. Dorman as well as many nephews and nieces. Richard grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois where he attended Maine South High School, class of 1975. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) with a BS in Nursing. Richard worked at Craig Hospital where he received his Certification as a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.(CRRN). He loved working with the patients who had spinal cord injuries. After leaving Craig he worked for various Home Health Services where he primarily assisted geriatric patients, a population he loved and who loved him in return. Richard was a gifted, compassionate Nurse who made a difference in the lives of his patients. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 22, 5:00 pm at the Clubhouse of Barrington Lakes Apartments. 2000 Hassell Road Hoffman Estates IL 60169.
