He was born Aug. 19, 1959 at Ellsworth Air Force Base at Rapid City, South Dakota to Dean and Darlene (Lamm) Pennington. He lived with his family at Norfolk, England, California, O'Fallon, Illinois; Adana, Turkey, Omaha and Ord. He enlisted in the U. S.Army in 1977 and served at Fort Carson, Colorado. He was a tank operator and mechanic. He had several short tour duties overseas. He graduated from St. Mary's High School at Colorado Springs in 1978. Following his discharge from the Army he returned to Norfolk. He was married on June 26, 2003 to Janna Belitz at the park in Woodland Park [Stanton county]. He was survived by his parents, his wife, 2 daughters [1 with a husband], 1 son, 4 step children, 1 brother, 1 sister. He was preceded in death by 1 son.
