Barbara Coffey Morrow, of Rice Road, Henderson, NC, a native and former resident of Blowing Rock, died August 22, 2016, at home. She was born August 14, 1938 in Blowing Rock, NC. Barbara was a talented musician and singer from the time she was 5 years old. She was a former Director of Music at several churches, in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. She was a member of Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd Ransom Morrow of Hamlet, NC; her daughter, Amanda Pendergrass and husband, Jeff, of Henderson; and three grandchildren, Braeden Pendergrass, McKallah Pendergrass, and Alexis Blake, all of Henderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Coffey.
Funeral services were held at Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Graveside service and burial at White Springs Cemetery in Blowing Rock, NC.
