Douglas D. Chambers, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doug was born to Wayne and Elizabeth Chambers October 2nd, 1955, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was baptized in Christ, November 1, 2008. He worked at Tones Spice for 23 years and Dewey Ford for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, trains, reading, can collecting, antiques, traveling, and Nebraska Football. He traveled to 49 states and 5 countries.
Doug is survived by his wife Tina, daughter Heather (Mark) McConnell, grandchildren Luke and Kallen, sister Karen (Larry) Clark, brother Ron (Sue) Chambers, five stepchildren, numerous step gradchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathy and his parents.
