Mrs. Champion Dies at Age 61 --
Mrs. Annie Wilma Hunziker Champion, of Route 2, Winchester, died Monday at her home following an extended illness. She was 61.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Champion, a Franklin County native, was born January 8, 1915.
She was the wife of Jesse Champion and the daughter of the late John C. and Bertha Pierce Hunziker.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Sue Bass, Sewanee, Mrs. Shirley Sweeton, Decherd, and Mrs. Ann Prince, Winchester; two sons, Tony Champion, Winchester, and Pete Champion, Sewanee; a brother, John Hunziker, Sewanee; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Tucker, Belvidere, and Mrs. Geraldine King, Sewanee; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
