U.S. Veteran Elmer "Don" Gregory was born December 27, 1933 and departed this life Wednesday, August 17, 2016 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late James Elmer and Anna Lee (Simpson) Gregory.
He married Elva "Jean" Owens and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Jean Gregory; one son, Don Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, James and Anna Gregory, he was preceded in death by: one son, Doug Gregory; two brothers, Omar and James Gregory; and one sister, Clara Jean Criswell.

Don retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 2 tours of duty in Vietnam.

He was a loving husband, father, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him and we look forward to joining him again on the streets of glory!

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2016 after 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
