Michael P. “Mike” Dugan, 65, of Albany, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at his home.
His funeral mass will be at 10 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church on Edgewood Ln. with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Levreault will officiate. There will be a reception following the Funeral Mass at the home of Scott and Gennie Marcus, 1303 N. Davis St., Albany, GA 31701.
Mike was born in Albany, and he attended St. Teresa’s School, Albany High School, Albany Junior College, the University of Georgia, and received his Master’s Degree from Emory University. He was the Director of the Dougherty County Public Library until his retirement. Mike was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, the Georgia Library Association, the National Library Association, and the Dougherty County Rotary Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Elsie Dugan.
