Obituary of Mary Rains

Mary Nell Rains, 79, of Woodville passed away May 20, 2016.

Born March 21, 1937 in Colmesneil, Texas to the late, Chester and Maxie Mae Widner Nabours, she lived in Tyler County all of her life. She was a retired dispatcher for the Tyler County Sheriff's Office and was a member of the Dogwood Hills Baptist Church. Mary was loved by all who knew her and always had a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold D. Rains; son, Aubrey Arnold Rains.

Mary is survived by her loving children Tana DeNell Rains Eaves and husband, Russell, Chris D. Rains, Derrick Darrell Rains and wife, Stacy; brother, Chester Carroll Nabours; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 10 am at the Dogwood Hills Baptist Church in Woodville with Brother Chad Barns and Brother Larry Trest officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, Tx. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 -8 pm at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Eaves, Blake Rains, Bryce Rains, Kameron Richard, Quenton Richard and Colt Richard.
