Anthony W. "Tony" Stewart, age 58, of Muncie, In., and formerly of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, August 27th, 2016 at the I.U. Ball Hospital in Muncie.

He was born December 9th, 1957 in New Castle,.

He was the son of the late Luther Stewart and Paula (Stearnes) Stewart of New Castle.

Tony had served as a machinist in the past for Kennedy Machine Shop.

In recent years, he was a caregiver for five years to the physical and mental handicap people.

He is survived by his wife Deborah (Bocock) Stewart of Muncie; two sons, Bobby (wife- Tammi) Burns of Greensboro, In., Johnny Stewart (fiancé – Polly Anna Hood) of Greenfield; his mother, Paula (Stearnes) Stewart of New Castle; several grandchildren; three sisters, Patty Stewart of New Castle, Mickey Whitehouse of Anderson, Cindy Stewart of Muncie; one brother, Luther Stewart of New Castle; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Stewart.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 at the Batson Cemetery with Pastor Rudy Lee officiating.
