Gary Dean Robbins, 75, of Mitchell, Nebraska passed away August 29, 2016, at the Cheyenne Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born January 23, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Orville and Garnette Ballentine Robbins.

Gary served in the U.S. Army in Ansbach, Germany, from 1962-1964. He married Mary Ann Borgman in 1965 and was happily married for 51 years. He had a heart for God and was a pastor for 48 years.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary Ann; son, Jeff (Melissa) Robbins; daughters, Monica (Stacy) Snook and Vicky (Darren) Barkman; six grandchildren, Sadie, Clayton, Anna, Malorie, Mareya, and Kaeden; brother, Ed (Ruth) Robbins; sister, Judy (Dale) Taddiken.

He was preceded in death by: his parents: and his brother, Ron.

Internment with military honors on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance, Nebraska. Celebration of Life service on Friday, September 2 at Calvary Memorial Church in Gering, Nebraska.
