Clyde A. Adams, 66, of Williamstown, passed away Sunday at home from injuries suffered in a tractor accident.
Born in Williamstown, May 3, 1950, he was a son of the late William and Verna Shiley Adams.
Clyde was a 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a retired self-employed contractor.
He attended Twin Valley Alliance Church, Williamstown, and was a member of Williamstown American Legion and Ashlar Lodge No. 570 F&AM, Lykens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Adams, in 2006; three brothers, Jimmy, Lester and Earl Adams.
Surviving are a son, AJ Adams, Williamstown; three sisters, Ethel Rabuck, Tower City, Martha Nelson, Orwin, and Ruth Miller, Williamstown; a brother, Russel Adams, Bloomsburg; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Twin Valley Alliance Church, Williamstown, with pastor Joel McGarvey officiating. Interment with military honors will be held in St. James Cemetery, Carsonville. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's name should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market St., Williamstown, PA 17098.
