Mr. Pratt was owner and operator of Gateway Midstate Truck Plaza Inc. in Madison. He was past president of the Illinois Truck Stop Association; Regional Director for N.A.T.S.O.; employed by Skelly Oil Co. for more than 17 years; worked 10 years as district manager in St. Louis; and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. today with a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Baue Chapel, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles. Burial will be at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay Street.
Among survivors are his wife, Genevieve Pratt of St. Charles; two daughters, Lisa Cornwell and Stefanie Pratt, both of St. Charles; a son, Douglas J. Pratt of St. Charles; a sister, Ruby Judd of North Port, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
