SGT. Philip Brandon Wright, 28, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was a native of Jacksonville, where he attended local public schools. SGT. Wright was a 2005 graduate of Robert E. Lee Senior High School, where he was a member of the R.O.T.C. and Wrestling team. Shortly after high school, SGT. Wright enlisted into the United States Army, serving 8 dedicated years until his demise.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessica Rowland Wright; parents, SGM (Ret.) Ray and Mrs. Jocelyn Wright; biological parents, John Leroy and Mrs. Brenda Huntley Wright; sister, Ms. Jamekia Wright; brothers, SFC Ray Wright, Jr. (Julita) and Davron Wright (Tiffany); a number of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service celebrating the life of SGT Wright will be held at 11AM, Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Master's Touch Ministry, 4510 Soutel Dr., Jacksonville, FL. He will rest in the mortuary for visitation on Wednesday from 5-8PM and Thursday at the church from 9AM until the hour of service. Friends are asked to assemble at the church under the direction of Alphonso West Mortuary, Inc., 4409 Soutel Dr.
