Frances Jane Higgins, age 81, of rural Houstonia, died Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, at First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs. Burial will follow in Blackwater Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, at the church. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Survivors include five children: Steve Higgins of rural Houstonia, MO, Terry Higgins and wife Therese of Jefferson City, MO, John Higgins and wife Diana of Warsaw, MO, Jane Merritt and husband Rob of Ozark, MO, and Keith Higgins and wife Tara of Blue Springs, MO; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Fredrick Gregory and wife Helen of Warsaw, MO, and Roger Gregory and wife Carolyn of Rosebud, MO; one sister, Kathy Reynolds and husband Donnie of Warrensburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robin Gregory and Glen Smith Gregory, and husband, Raymond Higgins.
