Matthew J. Campbell, age 34, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at this home due to complications of Muscular Dystrophy.
He was born on July 21, 1982 in Youngstown to Susan Lee Campbell.
Matthew attended the Purple Cat in Youngstown, was a DJ for Goldenstringradio.org and was a member of the Purple Cat Music Class Band. He loved Chuck Norris, country music, bowling, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was fond of wearing his black cowboy hat and black leather boots. He loved his cell phone. Matthew was genuinely a positive thinker and never met a person that he didn't immediately call "friend" or a lady that he didn't think was "beautiful".
Matthew leaves behind his friends and housemates: Ernie White, Sid O'Malley, and Robert Morley of Struthers and his many friends at ISLE and the Purple Cat, many of which he called his "family".
He was preceded in death by his mother Susan.
