Miss Phoebe Speirs received a message Thursday stating that her aunt, Mrs. Adaline Rickett, had passed away February 27, 1935 in Pomona, California. Funeral services and burial were Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in Pomona. Mrs. Rickett will be remembered by many as she made Hedrick her home from 1894 until the death of her husband, L.C. Rickett, in 1928 when she went to live with her son, Arlo Rickett, in Pomona, California.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, two grandsons, of Pomona, California, three brothers, Elmer L. Ludlam, Zurich Kansas, R.L. Ludlam Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio; Morris A. Ludlam, Bridgewater, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Cassill, Massona, Iowa, and Mrs. I.L. Copeland, Hedrick.
