Our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister passed away December 15, 1996 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Cindy was born Nov. 7, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Paul D. and Rena (Foster) Waddell, Sr., of West Valley.She graduated from Kearns High School in 1983 and was employed by O.C. Tanner for 10 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Cindy served a mission in Des Moines, Iowa where she met her husband, Richard Dixon. They were married November 24, 1995 and were sealed in the Chicago, Illinois Temple in January 1996. She had several callings in the church.

She was a avid crafts maker and loved to cross-stitch and spend time with her stepson, Sammy, and nieces and nephews.

Cindy is survived by her parents; her husband and stepson; sisters, Paulene (Troy) McGinnis, Pamela Hardman, Christene (Bob) Johnson, Debbie (Travis) Nielsen, and brother, Paul (Amanda) Waddell, Jr.; four nieces and three nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 23, 1996 at the Jordan North 4th Ward, 4270 South 4145 West, Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior at the church on Monday. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
