She was a former employee of Seinshimers in New Albany, the old bag plant in Charlestown, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3281.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Jones of Leavenworth; three sons, Gregory Jones of Mitchell, Daniel Jones of Corydon and Timothy Jones of Dallas; three daughters, Joyce Korte of Corydon, Martha Blaney of Morocco, Ind., and Doris Jones of Cincinnati; two sisters, Barbara Beard of Columbus and Clara Pruitt of Pekin; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 6, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon followed by burial in the church cemetery. Officiant: Father Dan Atkins.
