Wife of Dean Thomas Williamson. Daughter of Buford and Gladys ROLSTIN Maxwell.

Dorothy Ilene Maxwell, age 82, passed away May 02, 2022, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residential Care Facility in Sedalia, Missouri. She was surrounded by her children throughout her last days.

Dorothy was born on April 06, 1940, in Roseland, Missouri. She was the oldest child of Buford and Gladys (Rolstin) Maxwell. Dorothy married the love of her life, Dean Williamson, on July 25, 1957, in Nevada, Missouri. After moving back and forth from Missouri to Idaho 13 times in their first 3 years of marriage, they called Henry County Missouri home for most of their lives. Their marriage of 59 years was blessed with 4 children. Dorothy was a wonderful mother and wife. She was a hard worker and raised hogs on the farm for many years. She was a devoted truck drivers' wife and drove nationwide with Dean over the years. She also enjoyed working as a waitress a few times. She was a member of the Golden Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clinton, Missouri.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Annie (Mark) Albright, Hughesville, Missouri, Jim Williamson, Sedalia, Missouri, John (Amy) Williamson, Olathe, Kansas, and Gary (Beth) Williamson, Windsor, Missouri; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Anita Miller, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded by her parents, Buford and Gladys Maxwell; husband, Dean Williamson; 2 brothers, James and Deb Maxwell; and a grandson, Tyson Albright.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at the Golden Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, in Clinton, Missouri. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Parks Chapel Cemetery, 1023 SE 450 Road, Clinton, Missouri.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Windsor Animal Shelter, in memory of Dorothy Williamson. Donations may be left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 South 2nd Street, Clinton, Missouri, 64735.
