Pamela Doris Lawrence, 44, of 1030 Windridge Circle passed away December 1, 2004. A native of Gainesville, FL, she is the daughter of William Alfred & Ramona Doris Ludwig Pendle. A brother Bryan William Pendle preceded her in death. She has been involved with the Campus Crusade of Christ for 18 years & she & her husband started Athletes in Action in 1983 at the University of Georgia. She had served as President of the Christians Women's Club for 2 years.

In 2000 she started as counter manager for Estee Lauder at Belk's in Athens & in July 2003 became account coordinator for Estee Lauder in Belk's North Georgia region. In 2003 she received the Best of the Best of Estee Lauder award. She attended the University of Florida & was a member of the Grove Level Baptist Church in Commerce, GA. Survivors in addition to her parents include Raymond Eugene "Ray" Lawrence, Jr. of Watkinsville; daughters, Rachel Doris Lawrence of Athens & Melissa April Lawrence of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Courtney Pendle of Snellville; niece, Madison Pendle; nephews, Jackson Pendle and Cole Pendle. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 4th at Beech Haven Baptist Church with Dr. Stuart Sims & Rev. Jeff Appling officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bernstein Funeral Home. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Georgia Athletes Outreach, P.O. Box 1543 Watkinsville, GA 30677.
