Viola A. Bunn, 87 years, of Fremont, NE died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Premier Estates in Fremont.
Viola was born January 5, 1929 in rural Dodge, NE to Lodie and Mathilda(Kudera)Coufal. Viola married Harry C. Bunn on February 15, 1947 in Fremont, NE. The couple moved into Fremont in 1949. Viola was employed at the former Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in the laundry department for several years. She then did housekeeping for several area families. Viola volunteered at the Low Income Ministry in Fremont. She had been residing at Nye Square in Fremont for the past several years.
She is survived by sons, Harvey and wife, Deborah Bunn, Don and wife, Jody Bunn, Jim and wife, Cindy Bunn and Dan and wife, Lori Bunn all of Fremont; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry, who died August 4, 1981; brother, Lambert Coufal; sister Wilma Dunn; and 2 great granddaughters, Kylie and Olivia Bunn.
Memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. There is no viewing, however the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or to the Fremont Area Alzheimer's Fund.
