Lois June Albertson, 84 of Hastings, NE and formerly of Polo, MO entered eternal life August 25th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at a care facility in Hastings. Lois entered this life October 6th, 1931 the daughter of Carl and Margarette (Neill) Lewellyn in New York, MO. She grew up and lived in the Cowgill, Kingston and Polo area. Mrs. Albertson was a 1950 graduate of Polo High School. On June 11th, 1950 she was united in marriage to M.L. Albertson in Kansas City, MO. Lois was a homemaker and worked for Greenhills Head Start. After the passing of M.L. in 2010 she moved to Hastings, NE to be near her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Donald Dean Lewellyn, and a daughter LyDale June Sidebottom. She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Carleen Arnold of Hamilton, MO, son Michael (Carla) Albertson of Cameron, MO, son Carl (Tammie) Albertson of Hamilton, MO and a daughter Eileen (Tom) Dawes of Juniata, NE. Also surviving Lois are 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
A visitation at the Kingston Church of the Nazarene in Kingston, MO and a graveside service at Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Stith Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Polo, MO.
