On Wednesday, November 29, 2006, passed away in Washington, DC. Beloved wife of Will B. West. Honored mother of Isbella West, Manuela Preston (Dave), Carmen Sledd (Larry) and Malvena West. Regina was born on July 29, 1935 in Munich, Germany and raised by her loving parents the late Heinrich Zauner and Regina Z. (Schuelke) until she met and married the love of her life and joined him in the United States. After several duty assignments they decided to settle down and raise their daughters in Washington, DC. She is also leaves to mourn a beloved sister in-law Ruby McGee of Gary, IN; four grandchildren, David Preston, Monique Sledd, Jordon Preston and Janet Dixon; a host of loving aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other family and friends both here in the United States and Munich, Germany.
