Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Grace Roeschen.
Kathryn was a resident of St. Cloud, Fla., for the last 21 years. She had previously lived in Doylestown and Warminster, Pa.
Kathryn, more affectionately known as 'Kay', was a retired dietitian. She had worked at the Johnsville Naval Air Development Center in Warminster, Chandler Hall in Newtown and Centennial Springs in Warminster. In Florida she had been an employee of the Osceola School District. She also was an active volunteer at the Osceola Regional Hospital.
Kay was a kind, loving, and hospitable woman who thoroughly enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family and friends. Kay's loving spirit extended to caring for her developmentally challenged brother, Ronald.
Kay was the beloved wife of the late William Rogers, who passed away in 2004. She was the devoted mother of the late James Petty Jr. (survived by his wife, Ellen, of Oakford), who preceded her in death earlier this year, Raymond Petty Sr. (Roberta) of Oakford, and David Petty (Susan) of St. Cloud, Fla. She was the loving grandmother of Jaime Aloisi (John), James Petty III (Michelle), Raymond Petty Jr. (Samantha), Renee Petty, Cheryl Ford (William), and Katie Petty; great-grandmother of John Aloisi Jr. and Lyna Aloisi, Ryder Petty, Fiona and Winter Petty, James W. Petty IV, and a seventh great-grandchild expected shortly. Kay was the youngest of 11 children. She is survived by her brothers, William Roeschen and Charles Roeschen; and her devoted, lifelong friend, Eve 'Penny' Jones.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, where her funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Her interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
