Mrs. Calhoun lived her life as a rancher, side by side with her husband Clyde. Ouilda was saved as a young woman at a church in Albany, Oklahoma. She enjoyed shopping, reading a good book, the challenge of working crossword puzzles, just sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds, and looking over the river bottom, and visiting with family and friends.
Mrs. Calhoun is survived by her cherished children, Bruce Calhoun of Wade, Oklahoma, David Calhoun of Wade, Oklahoma and Sharon Chamberlain and husband Mark of Gene Autry, Oklahoma; and sister, Olena Mulkey of Roberta, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde (Dawson) Calhoun; sons, Clyde (Skip) Calhoun and Steven Calhoun; parents, Hugh and Rose Young; sisters, Aubryn (Dot) Young, Mary Vaughn (Vee) Young, Kathryn Stracener and Hazel Stinson.
∼Ouilda was born on September 6, 1931 and passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Thursday August 25th at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant Oklahoma. A memorial service to honor her life will be at 10:00 AM Friday August 26th at the Utica Baptist Church in Utica with Bro. Jay Perry officiating.
