Doreen had many varied interests. She was known for her cooking, painting and playing the piano. She got a lot of exercise by being an avid walker. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy on television, earning the nic-name of Jeopardy Champion from her family. Doreen was a lifelong Democrat as well as a faithful Catholic. Until her health prevented it, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nacogdoches.
Doreen is survived by her sons Kelly Delaney and his wife, Connie and Patrick Delaney and his wife, Linda; son-in-law, Nick Rozzo; a brother Jack Mannion and his wife, Terry; sisters Patricia Hatch and Colleen Noall; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Delaney, a daughter, Michele Rozzo, a grandson Sean Delaney, a sister Margaret Brown and brothers-in-law Roger Noall, Gus Hatch and Bud Brown.
