Mrs. Ruth Warren, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky died on August 25, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Warren was born in Calloway County, Kentucky om March 18, 1927 to the late Paul Spann and Ruth Jones Spann. Mrs. Warren before retiring worked in the Housekeeping Department at the Murray- Calloway County Hospital. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband L.D. Warren; one son, Paul David Warren; and by one brother, Harlan Spann.
Mrs. Warren is survived by one son, Danny Warren of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Linda Snead of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one brother, Earl Spann and wife Verba of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one grandchild, Mary Ruth Warren of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Brother Matt Ellis and Brother Glynn Orr officiating. Burial will follow in the Sinking Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
