Bryan J. Wilson, 25, of Lexington, IL died August 24, 2016 at his home.

Cremation rites will follow the service and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Bryan was born March 28, 1991 in Bloomington, IL the son of Jeffrey L. and Lisa Cappis Wilson, they survive along with one brother Cory all of Lexington; his fiancée Alyssa Bryant of Pontiac with whom he was expecting a child and her son, Bryan’s “Buddy” Kayden Bryant, Paternal grandparents Lynn and Shirley Wilson and Maternal grandmother Marilyn Cappis all of Lexington; uncle Dennis (Bonita) Wilson, cousins Whitney and Jordan, uncle Dan (Nella) Wilson, uncle Rob Wilson, aunt Sue (Jeff) Morin, cousins Sarah, Katie, and Jake, aunt Linda (Greg) Martin, cousin Hannah, and uncle Jay (Denise) Cappis, cousins Tyler and Annika, and Bryan’s dog Stinky.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charles Cappis.

Bryan worked as a carpenter for Mark Ruestman Construction in Bloomington, and previously worked for Paradise Pet. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, animals, fishing and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He was a graduate of Lexington High School where he played football and baseball. He also attended Heartland Community College in Normal and Lincoln College in Lincoln. He was an avid Cubs fan and never knew a stranger. He worked hard and he played hard, to know Bryan was to love him. He was a loyal and very loved man who will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
