Hugh L. Hickok, 80, of Route 4, Slippery Rock, died Friday, December 5, 1969 in the Grove City Hospital.
Born December 27, 1888 in Clearfield County, he was a son of Mary Cathcart and James Hickok.
Mr. Hickok was a member of Belle Memorial Church, Annandale.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Palmer Hickok; four children, Larue (Robert) Adsit and Mrs. Ruth Blakely, both of Grove City; Hugh Hickok, JR of Slippery Rock; Ord Hickok of New Castle; a brother, Ord Hickok of Houghton, New York; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may pay their respect from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday at the Joseph W. Ligo Funeral Home, Slippery Rock, where services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday with the Reverend Ralph Rummell, officiating.
Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
