Clyde Summers, Elwood, Dies This Morning
Clyde Summers, retired Elwood business man died about 11:30 o'clock this morning at his home, 1626 North D street. Mr. Summers was owner of the Summers Creamery. Survivors include the widow , Maude, a son, Paul of Elwood; a daughter, Mr. Lillie Rood, Elwood, three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. The body is at the Copher and Fesler funeral home. Funeral rites have not been completed.

Funeral services for J. Clyde Summers, 81, who died at 10:20 o'clock Thursday morning at his home, 1626 North D street, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Copher and Fesler funeral home. The Rev. J.E. McCoy, pastor of East Main Street Christian church will officiate. Burial will be made in Elwood City cemetery. Friends may call at Copher and Feslers. Born Mar. 6, 1876, Loogootee, he was the son of James and Elizabeth Summers. He was married to Maude Yohe on Aug. 4. ____. He was affiliated with Summers Creamery for 35 years and was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the East Main Street Christian church. He is a former Councilman for the city of Elwood. Survivors include the widow, Maude, two children, Paul of route 2 Elwood, Mrs. Lillie Rood, route 3 Elwood, a brother Warren S. Summers of Loogootee, a sister Mrs. Margaret Forfle of Lms!otet, three grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
