Beloved husband and grandfather, Jay Cloyd Love, age 66, of Crestview, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 20, 2006.
He was born on May 7, 1939, in Shirleysburg, Pa., and moved to Okaloosa County in 1975. He was a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, veteran of the Vietnam era and Desert Storm. He retired from civil service, where he served with the 191th Special Operations at Eglin Air Force Base auxiliary Field 3. Mr. Love was a member of Crestview Elks Lodge 2624.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda F. Love of Crestview; daughters Annette Love of Naples, Fla., April and Mike Ulfig of Naples, and Jessica Brier of Crestview; brother, Garry and Darlene Love of Pennsylvania; sisters, Norma and Dale Peterson, Audrey and Bob Pellman, Vena and Don Smith, and Janet and John LeCrone, all of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Emily and Chrissy Barlow; and one great-grandaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, at Hold Assembly of God with the Revs. Gordon Wilkerson and Michael Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home.
Brackney Funeral Service, Crestview, is in charge of arrangements.
