Services were held at the Francesville Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Ethel Hall, 63, who died Thursday night at the home of her son Clifford Hall west of Monon. Mrs. Hall was born August 23, 1885 in Pulaski County, the daughter of John and Harriett Ren and spent most of her life in the Francesville community. On March 4, 1903, she was united in marriage to William Milton Hall and the couple spent their married life engaged in farming. When Mr. Hall died four years ago Mrs. Hall made her home with her children. The day before her death she had come from the home of a daughter, Mrs. Jenson in Valparaiso to the Clifford Hall farm home for a visit. Surviving are four children: Clifford of west of Monon, Raymond of Buffalo, Mrs. Helen Cody of Monon, Mrs. Kathryn Jenson of Valparaiso; two brothers; William E. Ren of LaPorte and V. B. Ren of Hammond; a sister Mrs. Amber Lowry of Angola; a step-mother, Mrs. Sarah Ren of Winamac; ten grandchildren. A son John and a daughter Ruth preceded their mother in death. The body was taken to the Nickler funeral home where it remained until Sunday noon when it was removed to the Francesville church for services at which the Rev. Alvin Hall officiated. Burial was in the Francesville Cemetery.
